I love the visual aid to remind people to stand on the right, although it’s often ignored #mysundayphoto

Love those. As an ex commuter, it always annoyed me when people stood on the wrong side!! 😀

We’re happy to be back to school here. my boy has autism so really struggles with the length on the summer holidays, he’s happy to back into his rigid routine. He’d love these escalators, anything that has ‘rules’ is a win for him 🙂 #MySundayPhoto

You *say* summer is over. My youngest doesn’t start school until Weds so a few more days for me of spinning huge numbers of plates! Anyway, love this shot and I think it’s hilarious how Transport For London are now painting these feet on escelators. #MySundayPhoto
I’ve never seen footprints on an escalator before.
Hope back to school went well for you all.

Hi Tracey, that’s a clever idea, at least everyone knows where to stand! I’m never sure of escalator etiquette.

Not seen these before – where was this? It’s been a struggle going back to both school and work this week. For us summer was over all too soon.
EEEEKKKKKK!!!! I have a huge fear of escalators, they are evil things that try and eat your feet/legs/arms/hands.

I’ve never seen these on escalators before. I’m guessing they’re to try to encourage people to space out. It’s definitely more pleasant to have a little gap in front and behind.
