Well, it’s time for another set of photos for Project 365 – where has the week gone?!
This set of photos is from the last two weeks, as I’ve been wrapped up in decision making about a new work direction. So I think, very reflective of the last two weeks…lots of change going on in our household and lots of focus on the kids!
Here’s my week 9 (27 Feb – 5 March) and week 10 (6-11 March)
Day 57 / Sun, 26 Feb – Slow Sunday Breakfast
It was a slow start of Sunday, so it seemed appropriate to start it with some Dippy Eggs!
Day 58 / 27 Feb – School Run
Just look at the weather! Monday at 3pm… must be school run time!
Day 59 / 28 March – Baking
Post school, Little Mister wanted to bake, so we made chocolate brownies. I love these moments together.
Day 60 / 1 March – Sweets
The Little Shires have given up sweets for Lent. Their sweet jars are in the top cupboard. They’re doing well, so far!
Day 61 / 2 March – Gymnastics
Mademoiselle achieved her Bronze level of the UK Gymnastics proficency awards. She’s excited really!
Day 62 / 3 March – Night In
After the week I’d had it was well deserved, I thought.
Day 63 / 4 March – Drawings
I collated all of the drawings Little Mister had created this week. Quite a haul for the boy who doesn’t like putting pen to paper!
Day 64 / Sunday 5 March – Books
Having spent her World Book Day vouchers & received the new Paul Tobin book, my girl is literally going around with her head in a book!
Day 65 / 6 March – Japanese
Enjoyed lunch at my favourite Japanese restaurant in Oxford – Edamané. It’s a tiny, front-room restaurant serving delicious food. Review to follow!
Day 66 / 7 March – more Books
Mademoiselle’s diligence is put to the test with this wonderful colouring book from Lonely Planet.
Day 67 / 8 March – Glasses
It’s been over two years since I got my first pair of reading glasses, so it was check-up time. I really do have to work on my Selfie pose!
Day 68 / 9 March – Where is Everyone
3.30pm. The school run should’ve been in full flow but instead we had this – a quiet and empty road. The city girl in me still thinks this is a bit eerie!
Day 69 / 10 March – Brushing for Laughs
We received our Mr Snuffles toothbrush timer, as part of our support for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. A timer that burbs, farts and giggles – what’s not to like! #BonkersSnuffles
Day 70 / 11 March – The Faraway Look
Last time we came to this park Little Mister had chicken pox.
I hope you have a good week & enjoy the brightening, Spring weather.
I'm Tracey, nice to meet you. Mummyshire was 'born' three years ago after we moved from London to the Oxford countryside. Here I chart our journey adjusting to our new lives, the challenges of being in the countryside & surviving parenthood.
