Week 06/52 in pictures, and it’s been dominated by end of term discos & the reminder that my daughter is growing up fast!
Day 36 / Sun 5 Feb – Funny Football
Trying to recreate the football tricks he’s seen on TV with funny consequences and lots of laughter.
Day 37 / Mon 6 – Self Portrait
When his self portrait makes it onto the display wall, Little Mister proudly showed it off to me at pick-up time
Day 38 / Tues 7 – Hyggee Moment
A moment to myself, spent with a blanket, a book and a view out of our backroom window
Day 39 / Wed 8 – Make Up
Mademoiselle received her first set of make-up, just in time for the School Disco. It was a tough decision me & Dadtired made because I really don’t want her to think she needs make-up. However, we gave in to her & her peers!
Day 40/ Thurs 9 – No More Curls
Mademoiselle goes from curly to poker straight hair in time for the disco. She’s growing up fast! *the curls were back by the morning!*
Day 41 / Fri 10 – Roald Dahl Day
Possibly the most colourful and collective Dressing Up Day our school has done so far! Dressed as their favourite Roald Dahl character,Willy Wonka, it was a bonkers kinda day!
Day 42 / Sat 11 – Home Day
Half term holiday has kicked off with a PJ-wearing, Mug Cake making day. They’re not the finest of cakes but they are fun and easy to make.
Project 365 requires a photo a day, every day for the year. It’ll be great to have you join in with these other bloggers.
I'm Tracey, nice to meet you. Mummyshire was 'born' three years ago after we moved from London to the Oxford countryside. Here I chart our journey adjusting to our new lives, the challenges of being in the countryside & surviving parenthood.
