A photo a day, every day for a year – yup, it’s time to get up to date with my photos. I won’t lie, it is a challenge, but I know it’ll be worth it. Do pop along on my Instagram to see photos as they happen, but you can catch the weekly round-up here.
So here is my Week 12 – March 19 – 26
Day 78 / Sunday 19 March 2017 – Pestle & Mortar
After a fabulous night out the night before, I was in need of a good roast. There is something very satisfying about using a pestle & mortar. The crushed coriander seeds were mixed with garlic, parsley, black pepper, lemon juice & a dash of oil to create a crush for the lamb. Gorgeous!
Day 79 / Monday 20 – Tempted
The changing room area of a local store looks so comfy, I could just hang out there.
Day 80 / Tues – Supporter
I’m proud to be a supporter of this charity event, which is taking place in our little town in May. It’s raising money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Donations go towards keeping the Air Ambulance flying. A vital service
Day 81 / Weds 22 March – Bags
Bags are all packed – including mine – and ready to go. Today is my first day in the office, after 5 years of being a SAHM then a Working from Home mum.
Day 82 / Thurs 23 – It’s Real
My company obviously want me to return! I was issued with my own photo lanyard ID & a shiny new phone today!
Day 83 / Fri 24 Mar – Comic Relief
The children got to wear red to school & their red noses! It was fun & colourful in the playground and our school hosted a children’s Comic Relief bake off, too. Shame the Comic Relief show that evening didn’t live up to expectations!
Day 84 / Saturday 25 – Girls Together
Me & Mademoiselle discovered a small, pancake shop whilst out buying school shoes. As she’s pancake mad it would’ve been rude not to stop *ahem!* Here’s out little pancake selfie – I really do need to work on my angles *lol*
I'm Tracey, nice to meet you. Mummyshire was 'born' three years ago after we moved from London to the Oxford countryside. Here I chart our journey adjusting to our new lives, the challenges of being in the countryside & surviving parenthood.
