Where has the last week gone? I can’t believe it’s two days before Christmas and almost time to say goodbye to our Elf, Ellis Elfington.
I hope you’ve had a fabulous week with your Elf.
I’ve been speaking to the Little Shires about getting ready to say goodbye to Ellis. Having spent 24 days talking & believing in Ellis I know it’s going to be hard for Little Mister, but he’s excited about what’s coming next so I’m sure it’ll be OK. Mademoiselle has really enjoyed having the Elf here this year, too, helping her to suspend her imagination and just enjoy being a child and busting all the anti-Santa comments she’s hearing at school.
How are you ending your Elf journey?
I am adapting this great printable letter which inspired me last year to write this. I’ve adapted this letter again so it fits in with our family. But should the Elf’s magic be lifted for five minutes so the Little Shires can touch Ellis & say goodbye? I’m undecided about this bit, but I have the rest of the day to decide!
What would you do?
So on to the linky. I’d love to hear how you’re getting ready to say goodbye, and any last antics you may have been up to with your Elf.

I'm Tracey, nice to meet you. Mummyshire was 'born' three years ago after we moved from London to the Oxford countryside. Here I chart our journey adjusting to our new lives, the challenges of being in the countryside & surviving parenthood.
