This week I’m buzzing! My blog is in The Metro, I’m included in the BritMums family outing round-up and I’ve just been told next week I’m going to be in the same room as The One Show’s Alex Jones & Matt Baker.
Does the week get any better?
I’m included in a book by Wrens Kitchens sharing my tips to get kids into the kitchen. When I saw The Metro publish elements from the book and chose a photo of my boy to be in the picture title it gave me a real buzz. Soooo exciting for my little blog!
Work has been busy again as the Food Connections food festival I’m working on is almost here (starts 29 April) and the line up looks amazing, even if I do say so myself!
For the first time I saw my posters and programmes distributed around the city which gave me such a buzz and the BBC One Show will be broadcasting live from my launch event. So super excited!
Going into production mode and working with the team to put the last touches to the build up of the stages, the events and the logistics for the launch party is very exciting. Next week is going to be exhausting but worth it.
Seeing my post about spending some mummy-daughter time away with my Mademoiselle in Jersey highlighted in the BritMums round-up felt special. “You see, it really doesn’t take much to make me happy!* It has been one of my favourite posts of late, because spending Mummy-Daughter time together was so special, and for that to be recognised by someone else feels really special. Thanks Kara at ChelseaMamma – it means a lot!
I think I’ve cracked my added sugar habit and I feel much better for it. I’d gotten into a bad habit of adding spoons of sugar to my tea & coffee. As I work from home and often decamp to the kitchen, the sugar was mounting up and giving me an artificial buzz. Which is bizarre as I’m aware of what I eat and I drink decaf drinks to avoid such highs and lows!
Well, it’s taken a few weeks for my tastebuds to adjust but they have and I feel rewarded as my jeans certainly felt a little looser this week!
It’s been a great week and I’m buzzing, but it’s not because of the coffee!
I really hope you’ve had a great week
