Well, firstly this is not my new(ish) house, although I wish it was!
I’m an urban, London Mummy who relocated to Oxford countryside and created Mummyshire along the way.
I have two adorably cheeky, big haired, dual heritage children – my 8yo girl has discovered Radio One and Deezer (uh oh!) and is a self-declared Tomboy, and my 5yo boy is about to embark on his school journey but will always be our little comedian.
Whilst I love being mummy I also value being ME. So this blog also allows me to be a tinsy-bit self-indulgent at times & reconnect with the things that are important to me.
I like fashion but I’m starting to gravitate towards clothes that are more apt for mud that City, although I do still like a heeled shoe!
I’m always trying to do at least three things at once – I don’t do slow, never have, but I’m trying to slow down!
I prefer white wine to red
Dunking a digestive into hot tea is just divine
I desire anything that makes me look taller, slimmer and hides my wobbly middle (post babies you know the bits I mean)…
I’ve never been camping but love travelling (don’t judge!)
I owned a pair of wellies for 3 years in London before they really got muddy – there isn’t any mud on Islington High Street
My BLOG is all about our changing lifestyle – how I love London but am falling in love with Oxfordshire
I'm Tracey, nice to meet you. Mummyshire was 'born' three years ago after we moved from London to the Oxford countryside. Here I chart our journey adjusting to our new lives, the challenges of being in the countryside & surviving parenthood.
