These cheeky chaps left these on my phone; taken whilst they insisted I had a lie-in this Sunday – Mother’s Day here in the UK.
Watching these two little biological experiments grow up to be little people in their own right is an absolute privilege and an overwhelming pleasure.
They make me laugh with their hair-brained ideas and infectious giggling. They make me cry sometimes out of sheer frustration, especially when their selective hearing tunes them out! They teach me new things like Dabbing; they amaze me with their knowledge and skill, and challenge me to be the best I can be.
I don’t always get it right, in fact I’m sure I often get it wrong! But I had an amazing teacher in my mother, and if my children can have half the knowledge, love & guidance I was given then I think they’ll be OK.
Thank you Mademoiselle & Little Mister for a funny, full-of-hugs kinda Mother’s Day. You’re the best, Kidder-roos!
I'm Tracey, nice to meet you. Mummyshire was 'born' three years ago after we moved from London to the Oxford countryside. Here I chart our journey adjusting to our new lives, the challenges of being in the countryside & surviving parenthood.
